I don’t remember the first dumb thing I did.

I’m sure it was something ridiculously brilliant but I have no clue what it could have been. I can recall plenty of dumb stuff I did early on. I broke my arm jumping from a roof, I pantsed my grandmother and yelled “wedgie” in her face, and I believed Santa Claus was real for 17 years of my life (four years longer than I believed in Jesus). I always found that being dumb was very interesting. Sure, you hear about all the negative things, bad grades, falling for internet pyramid schemes and accidentally registering yourself for adoption. Yet there are some perks to being dumb. I think the most special gift of all is something very unique to us dumbasses; perspective. It lets you see things smart people often don’t think about looking for. There can often be a lot of beauty in the things people miss, and knowing you are one of the few who can see it, sometimes makes it feel not quite so dumb after all.

I remember the first time I was uncomfortable. It was the first time I got a boner.

I think the world has gotten both uncomfortable and dumb. Everything is always so angry and divisive. I have no clue when or if things changed. I just got here 19 years ago, you’ll have to tell me. But I hope things have. I have hope that the world has changed because that insinuates that it was once better. Happier. It also offers the hope that maybe it could change again, and back for the better. If so, maybe the world is just going through puberty. It once was a happy joyful adolescence. Now it is going through puberty. It smells, it's dicks grew and it got really, really, uncomfortably dumb. Yet, puberty eventually ends (or so I’m told) and when it does the world won’t just go back to being a happy little dumbass. Hopefully, it will grow up to be a more mature, more respectful, more creative and wiser adult planet.

I have no idea what will happen to this website or to us. Maybe ten people will listen, maybe a thousand will. But I know we have a little something to say about life around us. We will have different types of content; podcasts, blog posts, sketches and hopefully much more. Perhaps, if you don’t mind sticking around, we could all laugh and get a little better together. So we’ll do our part and make the world a more enjoyable place.

Because Jesus fucking Christ it really couldn’t get much worse.

So sit back, enjoy, try your damn best every day not to be a cunt, and without further ado we proudly present to you; Uncomfortably Dumb.
